SERVICES
The majority of ailments, chronic or acute, are usually as a result of repetitive function or behaviour which is not in balance with the way the mind/body complex is designed to work.
These are usually multi-factorial in nature as one dysfunction invariably leads to others as the body struggles to compensate in several directions simultaneously.
Whilst it is not that difficult to isolate these dysfunctional patterns it is often a major challenge to bring about the behavioural changes required to stabilise a specific condition when other issues keep getting in the way.
We have a team of specialist practitioners in various disciplines who are there for two purposes.
The first is to run their own independent practices for their own patients and the second is to provide support services to other practitioners who don’t have the time or space to implement specialised services.
POSTURE AND BREATHING ASSESSMENT
The traditional Medical and Dental professions focus on the symptoms attached to the patient, prescribe and act accordingly – with the aim in mind of trying to fix the symptoms with drugs, surgery or machines.
We prefer to focus on the person attached to the symptoms so that we can establish WHY you have symptoms rather than WHAT you have. Once we know why, something can be done to address the behaviour patterns that are causing the problems.
This program is designed to provide a detailed report, complete with gridded postural photographs and an accurate breath-by-breath graph which highlights breathing efficiency, balanced biochemistry and any tendency towards dysfunctional head-neck-jaw-foot and gait mechanics.
Once this has been done we have a far clearer idea of where to start and what steps to take to show you how to correct the dysfunctional patterns.
POSTURE AND BREATHING RETRAINING PROGRAM
This is sometimes done in small groups or else one-on-one – depending on the outcome of the assessment.
No two people are alike so there is no “one-size-fits-all” solution.
There is a full range of support services available – including computer and mobile phone apps – to help you remember what to do and when to do it.
Regular follow-up is provided to ensure that the program goes according to plan and that the changes that you have made remain in force.
